A Whole Systems Approach: New Collaborations for Zero Emission Transport

Join us for this discussion in partnership between Transport Scotland and the Transport Decarbonisation Alliance on the importance of taking a collaborative, whole-systems approach to the electrification of transport involving partners from across the public and private sectors.

As the decarbonisation of transport systems gathers pace, new challenges and opportunities are emerging in the development of technologies, the demand for infrastructure and changing business models. Increasingly, the issues involved are beyond the capacity of the public or private sector to deal with alone. Close collaboration is required between different levels of government and a broad range of industry and business.

This event will explore some of these issues with a particular focus on the electrification of heavy duty vehicles and large fleets, involving speakers from a range of countries, cities and companies looking at how they can collaborate on the introduction of zero emission fleets, their supporting infrastructure and integration with the energy network.
