Local Zero Live
The Local Zero team will host a live recording of the podcast as part of the Scottish Government's COP26 Just Transition weekend. It will be recorded and published as part of the Local Zero pod series.
The event will apply a similar format to the BBC’s ‘Question Time’, where an expert panel will discuss the topic of “Local Action to Deliver a Just Transition in Scotland and beyond…”. The event will consider what a Just Transition might look like at a local level and the role of local climate action in the delivery of a Just Transition. Join us to hear examples of where local communities have played a key role in developing more sustainable places and will examine the process through which they have been empowered to act, with particular consideration given to the potential of green participatory budgeting.
